Welcome to the EJES Clinic's Corner!

Clinic Hours:  7:15am - 2:35pm

Meet our Clinic Assistant, Tammie Swain! Mrs. Tammie has been our Clinic Assistant for the past 4 years and has been in the medical field for the past 15 + years.  She is passionate about helping others and taking care of our EJES students.

Note from Mrs. Tammie: At East Jackson, my main priority is the health and well-being of our students. I take pride in giving the best care to all of our students so that optimal learning can take place in the classroom. If your student needs medication of any kind during school hours, a parent or guardian MUST bring the medication in and fill out paperwork. Please do not send medicine in your child's bookbag. I look forward to working with our EJES students and helping them be successful this year!

Mrs. Tammie has the following certifications:

With the assistance of Mrs. Tammie, EJES was recognized as a Heart Safe School in 2019.  Heart Safe School is part of the Project S.A.V.E. by Children’s Health Care of Atlanta.

Families: Please do not send your student to school with a temperature above 100.4. Medication MAY bring the fever down but the child is still ill.

Students are not to return to school until fever, diarrhea and/or vomiting has stopped for a full 24 hours, without the aid of medication.

Students prescribed antibiotic medication for communicable diseases can take the medication for 24 hours before returning to school.
